What is ConnectMyShop?
ConnectMyShop is an Etsy connector (an MCP server) that links your Etsy shop to ChatGPT, Claude or another AI assistant. The AI can read your listings, stock and orders and prepare changes, and nothing reaches Etsy until you approve each one.
It’s for Etsy sellers who already use an AI assistant and want it to do the work in their shop: bulk title and tag edits, prices and stock, new drafts, photos and shipping. If you mainly want keyword search-volume estimates, pair it with a research tool like eRank.

Do I need to be technical?
No. You sign in with Etsy, then paste one link into your AI assistant. There’s no code, no developer account and no API keys to manage.
Which AI assistants work?
Any assistant that supports connectors, also called MCP (Model Context Protocol) — including Claude, ChatGPT and developer tools like Cursor. Connector support can depend on your AI plan.
What can the AI actually do in my shop?
Check your shop for problems and rank what to fix first, rewrite titles, tags and descriptions in bulk, add photos and alt text, manage variations, stock, SKUs and per-variant prices, create complete drafts (including digital downloads), mark orders shipped with tracking, and edit shop settings like your announcement and sections. Deleting and publishing are off unless you allow them, and every change waits for your approval.
Can it research competitors and keywords?
Yes. Ask about any Etsy shop’s sales, rating and reviews, the top listings for a search with their prices and tags, or which popular tags your own listing is missing — all from live Etsy data, then apply the fixes in one approval. Etsy doesn’t publish search volume or per-listing sales, so the AI tells you that instead of guessing.
Can the AI change my shop without asking me?
Not unless you choose that. By default every edit, draft or publish becomes a request with a before-and-after preview, and nothing happens until you approve it. If you trust a workflow, on any plan you can turn on automatic approval per kind of change (for example listing edits) in your dashboard — everything is still logged, and you can switch it off any time.
Does the AI get my Etsy password?
Never. You sign in on Etsy’s own page. We store your Etsy access tokens encrypted and use them on your behalf; the AI only receives the shop information its permissions allow.
Is ConnectMyShop made by Etsy?
No. ConnectMyShop is an independent app that uses the official Etsy API with your permission. It is not endorsed or certified by Etsy, Inc.
Will you use my shop data to train AI?
No. We don’t sell your data or use it to train AI models. We keep only what’s needed to run the connection, and cached shop data is refreshed or deleted quickly.
What does it cost?
There’s a Free plan with 300 Etsy requests on your first day, then 100 a day (about 20–30 listing edits), Basic is $9.99/month or $99/year for 2,000 requests a day, and Pro is $24.99/month or $249.99/year for 5,000 requests a day. Every plan includes approvals, automatic approvals and all features, including the shop check and research — paid plans just raise the daily limit. You keep paying for your own AI assistant as usual.
How do I disconnect or delete my data?
Disconnect any AI or your whole shop from your dashboard at any time. You can also delete your account, which removes your stored data. You can revoke access from your Etsy account settings too.
