Do I need to be technical?

No. You sign in with Etsy, then paste one link into your AI assistant. There’s no code, no developer account and no API keys to manage.

Which AI assistants work?

Any assistant that supports connectors, also called MCP (Model Context Protocol) — including Claude, ChatGPT and developer tools like Cursor. Connector support can depend on your AI plan.

Can the AI change my shop without asking me?

Not unless you choose that. By default every edit, draft or publish becomes a request with a before-and-after preview, and nothing happens until you approve it. If you trust a workflow, you can turn on automatic approval per kind of change (for example listing edits) in your dashboard — everything is still logged, and you can switch it off any time.

Does the AI get my Etsy password?

Never. You sign in on Etsy’s own page. We store your Etsy access tokens encrypted and use them on your behalf; the AI only receives the shop information its permissions allow.

Is ConnectMyShop made by Etsy?

No. ConnectMyShop is an independent app that uses the official Etsy API with your permission. It is not endorsed or certified by Etsy, Inc.

Will you use my shop data to train AI?

No. We don’t sell your data or use it to train AI models. We keep only what’s needed to run the connection, and cached shop data is refreshed or deleted quickly.

What does it cost?

It’s free during early access. After launch there will be one simple monthly plan per shop with a free trial, and early-access members get a founding discount. You keep paying for your own AI assistant as usual.

How do I disconnect or delete my data?

Disconnect any AI or your whole shop from your dashboard at any time. You can also delete your account, which removes your stored data. You can revoke access from your Etsy account settings too.
