# ConnectMyShop

> ConnectMyShop connects an Etsy shop to the AI assistant a seller already uses (ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor, VS Code or any MCP client). The AI can read the shop and propose listing changes; changes require approval by default, with optional automatic approval for supported action types. Independent app, not made or endorsed by Etsy.

- For Etsy sellers. Setup: sign in with Etsy at https://connectmyshop.app, then add the connector link https://connectmyshop.app/mcp to the AI app (remote MCP, OAuth). No code or API keys.
- What the AI can do: check the shop for problems, research competitors, products and keywords from live Etsy data, find weak listings, rewrite titles/tags/descriptions (single or bulk), change prices (optionally only for specific variants such as "2XL"), add photos and alt text, manage variations, stock and SKUs, create complete unpublished drafts (including digital downloads), deactivate/reactivate listings, add listing videos and translations, set variation photos, manage shipping profiles (destinations, costs, upgrades), return policies, processing times and holiday closures, read shop reviews with rating summaries, see listings with views but no sales, summarize orders (including refunds) and mark them shipped with tracking (optional, without buyer names, addresses or contact details), and read payments, Etsy fees and earnings (optional, read-only). Research uses live Etsy data; Etsy publishes no search volume or views per period.
- Safety: approval required for every change (sellers may opt in to automatic approval per change type), exact undo for price changes, edits skipped if the listing changed after the preview, deleting listings off by default (separate permission, always needs approval), publishing off by default, Etsy tokens never shared with the AI.
